I joined Erin Geiger on Clover — a podcast about women in leadership, visibility, and owning the room — for a conversation that ranged wider than I expected when we sat down.

We talked about the path from pediatric endocrinology in Baku to running global clinical trials, and then to founding a company in Austin. But the part I keep thinking about is the middle: the stretch where other people could see the value of my expertise before I could see it myself. Founders kept telling me I was solving in minutes what had stalled them for months. It took a while to believe them.

At general investor events I still hear: "You're in healthcare? We're not interested — real estate, yes, software, yes." That's the gap I'm working to close.

Healthcare is a longer game than software. It comes with FDA timelines and clinical trials, and it does not flip in eighteen months. But at the end of the day, every one of us is a patient, or will be. That is worth capital.
